Clay Park, Dartington

Crendon Timber Engineering was appointed to design, supply and install the full timber superstructure for a development of 39 affordable, energy-efficient homes at Clay Park in Dartington, near Totnes.

Delivered on behalf of Aster Group for Clayewater Homes Ltd, the scheme includes a mix of studios, flats and one to four bedroom houses built to EPC A energy standards.

Using a combination of Timber Frame, Roof Trusses, Posi-Joist metal web joists, Gable Panels and Spandrel Panels, the offsite engineered solution helped improve programme efficiency, build accuracy and site safety.

Early collaboration with the project team ensured optimal insulation performance and smooth coordination throughout the construction process.
