We’re incredibly proud to announce that we have been shortlisted for the Environmental Achievement Award at the Timber Trades Journal Awards 2024. The TTJ Environmental Achievement Award recognises and promotes the industry’s ever-improving environmental performance.

During the 18 month period from January 2023 to June 2024 we have completed the following environmental projects which are all summarised in our “Towards a Sustainable Future” brochure which can be viewed and downloaded below.

• Updated our Environmental Policy to include a commitment to reduce Carbon Usage by 100% by 2050
• Our Carbon Reduction Plan details our achievements with extensive and verified details on Scope 1 – 3 emissions
• Achieved a Third Party Verified Net Zero Carbon status
• Installed Solar PV Panels at the majority of our manufacturing premises which generates over 50% of our electricity requirements
• Completed a replacement to fully LED bulbs at all of our premises
• Replaced 90% of our HGV Delivery Fleet with new Euro 6 compliant vehicles with the final upgrades to be completed in 2025.
• Installed EV charging units at all of our premises with all new company cars now being fully EV or Hybrid for the last two years.
